Lone Wolves on the Prowl

Sales of Terror for Profit continue apace, and I really appreciate the messages about the book I have received via LinkedIn from across the globe. Readers in the USA, UK, Ireland, and New Zealand have contacted me. I have enjoyed our discussions immensely.

Many of you will have read of the lone wolf attacks this week by an apparent Turkish youth with neo-Nazi links, and of the pro Gaza stabbing in New York. Both fit completely within the trends I outline in the book, with the Turkish youth a mirror of Ali Sonboly and Mauricio Garcia you encountered in Chapters 5 and 6. At the same time, the Gaza-related stabbing is sadly indicative of the forming (or upon us) fifth wave I outline in my conclusions in Chapter 14.

Lone wolf attacks are part of the trends of the fifth wave of terrorism outlined in Dr. Martin Gallagher's new book, Terror for Profit: A New Paradigm for Understanding Terrorism and Organized Crime (published by KeyPoint Press, www.terrorforprofitbook.com)

We can only hope measures are taken to address these developments. Articles like that in today’s UK Daily Telegraph, in which Lizzie Dearden outlines the debate needed regarding terrorism and mental health, are also expounded upon throughout my book. As Orla Lynch observes, and I support, “Look at the terrorist, not the terrorism.”

For those of you who have now completed your immersion into the stormy waters discussed throughout Terror for Profit, I hope it has been a good and thought-provoking read!
